In order to carry kayaks on a 2016 Nissan Rogue with raised side rails you'll need to install crossbars as well as kayak carriers which hold the kayaks on their side. The Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack part # MPG216 is a great cost effective option which will work wonderfully with the etrailer J-Style Kayak Carrier part # e98878 but you will need two sets.
