Flat Towing Using The D-Rings On An Aftermarket Bumper

Smittybuilt on the quadratec website says you can not use the d rings for flat towing. Your website says you can. whos right?

I spoke with Smittybuilt and their tech said that all of their Jeep bumpers can be flat towed with the D-Rings except for the SRC Classic and Tubular Bumpers. So as long as your bumper isn't either of those you'll be good to use the The D-Rings for flat towing.

If your aftermarket bumper is rated for flat towing then you'll be able to use the Adapter for Jeep D-Ring Bumper Mounts to Roadmaster Motor Home Mount Tow Bars - 3/4" Thick Item # RM-035 to attach to a Roadmaster Tow Bar.
