My bolts/pin are worn I think it’s 7/8 in size but I use a spacer … do you think a one inch would fit and be better?

Based on the information you have given me you have the Roadmaster Adapter for Jeep D-Ring Bumper Mounts to Roadmaster Motor Home Mount Tow Bars # RM-035 or # RM-035-1.

Since you want to stick with Roadmaster parts, the correct replacement pin is the Replacement Hitch Pin for Roadmaster Jeep D-Ring Bumper Mount Tow Bar Adapters - Qty 1 # RM-910044. This hitch pin is the direct replacement part for the pin that came with the # RM-035 and # RM-035-1. The adapter is designed to fit D tabs with 7/8" and 1" diameter holes. The hole size can vary because they aren't standardized so they use this pin and add the sleeve for a 1" hole. We also have the replacement sleeve available, which is the # RM-A005116.

I have attached a picture from the adapter instructions that covers the use of the pin and the sleeve. It also includes a warning stating that failure to use the included pin could result in non-warranty damage which is another reason to use this Roadmaster replacement pin.
