Electric Trailer Brakes and Hub/Drum Assemblies for Timbren Axle-Less Suspension Kit
Question:
I am trying to add brakes to my trailer with the 2000# timbrens. I had ordered Item # AKHD-545-2-EZ-2K, from trailer, but its not correct. I need an assembly that uses bearing #L68149 as an inner and #L44649 as the outer. What part do I need? Can I use the brakes, Item # AKEBRK-2L and 2R? Bolt pattern is 5x4.5. Thanks.

If you have a 2K-rated Timbren axle-less suspension kit # ASR2KHDS03, which includes brake flanges but not hub/drums, you can add brakes and hub/drum assemblies. For the hub use part # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K. This has the matching bearings and 5-on-4-1/2 wheel bolt pattern.
For compatible self-adjusting 10-inch electric drum brakes use kit # AKEBRK-35-SA, which is a pair of left- and right-hand brakes rated for 3500-lbs.
