Lubricating Heininger Twistep Portable Pet Step # HE3052

Question:
We have a twist step that we love but suddenly it has become almost impossible to twist. We applied oil but it is still to difficult to pull it into place. Any advice?

Expert Reply:
I spoke with my contact at Heininger, who recommended applying oil and working the swivel. It's kind of difficult for the oil to find its way into the swivel, so apply a thin bead around the swivel as shown in the photo I provided for you.. Also, apply oil to the hole for the pull knob. This will put the oil right where it can do the most good. You might need to do this a few times.
