Question:

Im looking for a winch that will wind up AND unwind. Not a free unwind, as this will control a seated aperatus that some one will be seated in. The weight is 350-440. Not even 450lbs Im for sure. Do you have something in this line?

Please note that all winches we sell, whether manual hand-crank types or AC-powered units like the Dutton-Lainson StrongArm Electric Davit Winch # DL25032, are not to be used as hoists for lifting, supporting or transporting people, or for handling loads over areas where people could be present.

This safety statement should be considered carefully as there could potentially be liability exposure
if you use a product in an application specifically excluded by the manufacturer. Therefore I cannot recommend using any winch product in such an application. A ladder may be a better option.

That said, we do offer the AC-powered unit referenced above, part # DL25032, that can be fitted with winch cable # DL24047.
