There's no reason you couldn't use the MaxxTow Lights # MT80637-2 as an additional reverse light on your vehicle.
The number 86 pin on the relay is the keyed circuit. You would just need to tap into your reverse light circuit and run the wire to the 86 pin of the relay and the kit will turn on when your reverse lights are turned on. If you have a 7-way trailer connector on your vehicle you should have a reverse light circuit present there that you could use.
Typically the center pin of the 7-way will be for reverse lights. You can check this with a circuit tester like # 3808. If not, then you will need to use that circuit tester to test the wiring from your current reverse lights to find the correct circuit to use.
