Question:
I have an A frame, weld on, Bulldog/Ram coupler for a 2inch ball. The outside diameter is appx 2.75. Will this fit without excessive pin exposed?

I went out to the warehouse and pulled Bulldog coupler lock # BD580409. When locked the pin span is 3-5/8 inches. That is probably more pin exposed than you want.
Coupler lock # BD580410 has a usable span of 9/16 to 2-3/4 inches so it would be a better option for you.
We also have several Bolt brand keys that you could key to match your vehicle key and that have a span range that would work for you. I have included a link to them to the right.
