What is the length of the exposed shaft when locked? I need to lock a 2.5 inch Bulldog type hitch.

When Bulldog coupler lock # BD580409 is locked the span of the pin is 3-5/8 inches. For a 2-1/2 inch span I recommend our etrailer.com lock # e98887.
