I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4 Pole Trailer Connector, # 118426, because it protects the vehicles sensitive circuitry and provides power for the trailer lights from the vehicle battery. I have included a link to the instructions below.
If you have a tow package, use Hopkins Plug-N-Tow Vehicle Wiring Harness, # 40455. I have included a video of this product below.
