What bike rack will fit my 2012 chevy volt? Only need it to carry 2 bikes but for long distances.

We have numerous trunk mount bike racks that will fit your 2012 Chevy Volt. I have included a link to the options for you.

For a good entry level rack that will fit and work just fine for long distances you can use the Thule Passage 2, # TH910XT. It secures to the vehicle using 6 straps, holds 2 bikes, and includes anti-sway cradles. I have included a link to a video review of the rack shown on a similar vehicle.

If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical men's bike would) then I recommend using bike adapter bar # 64005. This will allow you to carry those bikes more level and will provide better ground clearance. I have to use these adapters and without them my wife's bike would be at a severe angle and I would not be able to load my son's bike at all. I have linked a video showing how the adapter works.

I have a 2012 Chevy Volt with a rear spoiler and need a rack to carry 1 womens bicycle. Could you please recommend a trunk bike rack that will fit over the spoiler and hold the bike securely?
