Trouble Pairing Prodigy RF Brake Controller with 2013 Audi Q7
Updated 09/08/2014 | Published 09/05/2014 >
Question:
I followed the instructions to pair using a second vehicle example for Mercedes in QandA for my 2013 Audi Q7. Pairing appeared to work got all the way to setting the brakes at 6 on the handheld. When I started the car the next time, all I could get was the nc flashing on the handheld. Is there a reason why the handheld would pair and then lose the pairing?

Yes, it is possible that there isn't enough voltage on the 2013 Q7 for the unit to recognize that a trailer is connected. To fix this issue you can try adapter # 20142. This adapter will provide more current draw so that this issue does not happen.
