As long as you have a roof rack that has crossbars that are narrower than 3-1/8 inches in diameter the Upright Bike Rack part # S64720 would work well on your 2012 Dodge Journey.
If you do not have a roof rack with crossbars that run from side to side on your vehicle you will want to follow the link I attached to the right where you will be able to select your roof style and the correct racks will be listed.
