Question:
please let me know if this kit will fit on my 1996 GMC Sierra extended cab 1500 which has a 5.7 liter. Do we need anything else besides this kit? Thanks!

Expert Reply:
Transmission coolers/oil coolers are not vehicle specific so you can install # D15903 on your 1996 GMC C/K series truck with the 5.7 liter as long as it has an automatic transmission. This combination cooler does have the proper thread type for the oil filter on a GMC truck.
But for the transmission cooler part I recommend adding fitting # D13035 so you will not have to cut and flare any transmission lines. With these items you will not need anything else for the installation. I have included a link to the installation instructions to the right for you.
