Left Hand Vs. Right Hand Placement of Ramp Springs on a Trailer Ramp
Published 08/21/2014 >
Question:
what are you considering right hand and left hand? Is the right hand side of the gate, looking at it from the front or from the back of the gate? Will the srings coil on a 1-1/2inch exact fit rod, or will it have to be a tad smaller?

Right hand side would refer to the passenger side of the trailer and the left hand side would be the driver side. The part # RS16933LH is the left side and the part # RS16933RH is the right hand side. Both of these would work great on a 1-1/2 inch diameter shaft.
