Curt trailer hitch # C13114 does fit your 2011 BMW X6 M-Series! To complete your towing set up I recommend etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It includes 2 ball mounts, 2 balls, a hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag. For trailer wiring though you will need to visit a BMW dealer because there are no aftermarket harnesses available.
