Track Mount Roof Rack Will Not Lie Flat on Tonneau Cover
Updated 08/05/2014 | Published 08/03/2014 >
Question:
Please take a look at the attached photos and let me know what I need to get this track to lie flat on the tonneau cover. Do I have the correct legs? Do I need a different wedge? I mocked it up with tracks, legs, and crossbar to position on the tonneau and noticed the tracks did not lie flat.

Is it only happening on the one side? You may need to loosen the connection between the foot and the crossbars to allow the track to lie flat. It may also require another fastener at the very end to hold it down if it refuses to lie flat.
You will want to alternate tightening down each side sort of like when you tighten the lug nuts on a tire.
