Hey Chuck. To flat tow a 2014 GMC Terrain with a Blue Ox Alpha Tow Bar item # BX7380, you'll need the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit item # BX1689. The tabs on the baseplate will connect directly to the arms of the tow bar.

If your parents have already purchased and installed the Roadmaster EZ Base Plate Kit item # 523163-1, you'll need the Roadmaster Base Plate Adapter Bracket for Blue Ox Tow Bars item # RM-032. This is the only way you'll be able to us the Blue Ox Alpha item # BX7380 with that Roadmaster setup.

Here are the rest of the parts I recommend for flat towing a 2014 GMC Terrain:

Wiring Harness - 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit item # RM-15267

Fuse Bypass - Fuse Bypass Switch item # C73HR

Supplemental Braking System - SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System item # SM99251 or the Air Force One item # SM99243 if your motorhome has air brakes

Charge Line - Towed Vehicle Battery Charge Line Kit for Demco Stay-IN-Play Duo Braking Systems item # DM66VR. This is the easiest and least expensive way to add the required charge line because it routes through the Demco item # SM99251 or item # SM99243.

What kind of motorhome do your parents have? Feel free to answer this and throw in any other questions you have, where it says Add Comment.
