Replacement Ladder Options For 2026 Grand Design 2600 Travel Trailer

I need a replacement letter for my grand design 2600 RV. It’s a 2026 model and the part number is 591144. Do you have a letter that would work as a replacement for this one?

Hey Robert!

Thanks for getting back to me with that part number! I wasn't able to cross-reference #591144 to an exact replacement, but the Stromberg Carlson Exterior RV Ladder # LA-401 I mentioned previously is still my recommendation.

It's a universal ladder that can be trimmed to fit your 2026 Grand Design 2600RB. Just keep in mind that it may require different mounting holes, and the brackets must attach to reinforced mounting points.

If you are looking to replace an OEM one that came on it from the factory, then perhaps you can reach out to Grand Design with your VIN number and they can try looking up that specific ladder that came on it. That way you may not have to trim and do custom install work.

Did yours have the original one on it? Did it get damaged?

I purchased this ladder for my Jayco Greyhawk. The ladder install was easy and essentially flawless. The only issue was the curved handles at the top were not large enough in radius to fit the structural supports. Not an issue, as the top of my old ladder was not damaged, hence I used them to finish off the install. I also added an extra support mid point to eh ladder.
