Hi Joe!
With the MORryde StepAbove RV Steps with Strut Assist - 23-3/4" to 24-1/4" Wide Doorways - 4 Steps # MR75RR being a 4 step and because these steps store vertically inside the door frame and swing outward like a drawbridge, the side clearance needed is exactly equal to the total length of the step assembly. That means you will want to have 42 to 48 inches of side clearance to deploy them.
It will depend on how far you have the adjustable legs. but if you always have at least 48" of space between you and whatever you are parked next to, you will never have an issue. ^___^
Do you typically find yourself in somewhat tight parking spots?
