Replacing 6-Way Square Connector on Jayco Trailer and Using Adapter # 30104

Question:
This is concerning a 95 jayco jay series camper. I noticed that the adapter plug going to the trailer was damaged on the 6 square side. So I purchased part #30104 from etrailer. Then noticed that the 6 square plug on the trailer had one of the poles broken off in it and could not remove it. My question is will part #37995 work on the part I ordered if I splice into the wires on the trailer and install it.

The Jayco 6-Way square connector is unique to those trailers and # 37995 wouldn't be a good fit for adapter # 30104. But, it you were to order # 37995 any way you could use it by replacing the 6-Way end on # 30104 with the vehicle side 6-Way that comes with # 37995.
