I have a 2024 bmw x5 with flush rails. I am interested in the Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack - Aero Crossbars - Raised Side Rails - Aluminum - 65inch Long - Black. I only want a 53” wide rail, and that is not offered by Malone. Can I cut the rail and cap the sides?

Hey AJ! Unfortunately, the Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack won't fit your 2024 BMW X5. This rack is designed for raised side rails, and Malone doesn't offer a compatible version for the flush rails on the X5.
Instead, I recommend the Rhino-Rack Sportz Roof Rack # RR76KG. This is confirmed to fit your X5 with flush rails and comes with 54" black aero crossbars, which will only stick out another 1/2" on either side compared to the 53" you're looking for.
