Question:
Hi. I just got a new 2026 Ford Bronco and I am looking at this hitch. Can it be used for carrying a bike rack as well as occasionally towing a small utility trailer? Just small stuff to the dump and whatnot. Thanks.

Hi Joe! Congrats on the new car! ^___^
The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2" # e27ZV for your 2026 Bronco can absolutely be used for either purpose! It has 3,500 pounds of towing capacity and 350 pounds of tongue weight capacity, so it can handle quite a bit of weight.
When we installed this on a 2026 Bronco, we found it to sit 18" from the inside top of hitch to the ground, so you will want to measure from the ground to the bottom of the coupler on your trailer to find a ball mount that has the correct rise/drop that will keep you nice and level. Let me know the measurement you get and I can find a good option for you.
To complete the towing side of things, you will also need the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C42WR (for LED taillights) or the # C87BR (with incandescent taillights).
For the bike rack part, we measured 3" from center of pin hole to edge of bumper and 13" from center of pin hole to edge of spare tire (not sure what the tire size was). You will want to make sure your bike rack has a fairly long shank to clear the spare, so that's something to be aware of. If you don't already have a bike rack, the Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # HLY94FR is a great option and I have an image included with this installed on a Bronco for you to check out. It has a 35 pounds per bike capacity though, so if your bikes are heavier, just let me know and I can find a better option for you.
On that note, what kind of bike, or bikes, are you wanting to carry?
