What Bottle Jack Should I Carry in a Lifted Truck With 35 Inch Tires

Updated 10/17/2026 | Published 10/10/2026

Question:

I have a Ram 1500 with a 4" lift and 35" tires. I'm looking for a jack and stand I can keep in the truck for tire changes and occasional repairs. What would you recommend instead of hauling my floor jack around?

Hey Caleb! I'd go with the Power Mountain Tallboy Bottle Jack with Stand # PM85ZR. This 6-ton jack includes extensions for an overall height range of 8-1/2" to 37-3/4", giving you extra reach without carrying a full-size floor jack. You also get a 6-ton stand, and both pieces pack into their own storage bags.

What do you use your truck for the most?

Fit, finish and build quality are terrific. The combo of jack and jack stand is a great safety feature, also allows for getting 2 tires off the ground if necessary. Highly recommend!

@Nick thanks for sharing your experience! Glad to hear you're happy with the quality of the Tallboy. Having a separate jack and stand definitely makes it a versatile setup for roadside repairs.

Mostly off-roading and camping. I wanted something I could keep in the truck without taking up a bunch of room, especially when we're loaded up for a trip.

@Caleb the Tallboy # PM85ZR will be a great fit for that. Having the jack and stand in separate storage bags makes it easy to keep them tucked away with your recovery gear until you need them. Enjoy the trails!
