Can The Air Bags In The Air Lift Ride Control AL59570 Be Tied Together With A Tee Fitting?

Updated 10/09/2026 | Published 10/07/2026

Question:

I noticed watching your video and looking at your parts list that this product comes with two air valves to inflate the bags, one for the left and one for the right. Id like to know if theres a problem if I was to add a tee and only use one air valve and let the two airbags stay equalized. Im looking at this product to add some lift and stability to the back of my truck when towing my camper.

Hi Randy!

You are looking for the following part:

Air Lift Union Tee for 1/4" Air Lines # AL21838

This will connect both of the air bags in the Air Lift Ride Control Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle # AL59570 to one air inlet so you can fill them at the same time. You should have plenty of air line to accomplish this, but if you end up needing more, we do have that with the Replacement Air Line Kit # AL20086. Again, you shouldn't need any more, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to mention it as well.

What kind of camper are you towing with your 2018 F-150?

2026 Jayco Jay Flight261BHS We upgraded recently after a tree lamb went through the roof of our Coleman 2155BH, this new one has a little more tongue weight and I wanted to these airbags to compensate for it.

Hey Randy, I personally used induvidual air- in valves on my bumper for induvidual lift per left or right side. Sometimes weight is more on one side. with the T union it will inflate both bags the same pressure. My T-union is sitting on a shelf

To date I have not had any issues with the union tee on the airlift system. I made sure to secure it with zipties to a stationary point and make sure all lines were routed to not make contact with moving parts. 3 years no issues.
