How Do I Measure for a Replacement Awning for a 2006 Arctic Fox 990 Truck Camper?

Hi there I have a 2006 artic fox 990 truck camper and I’d like to replace the awning shade but not sure which size or one to get. Could you help me out with that please? Thank you!

Hi Amy,

To replace your awning on your 2006 Arctic Fox 990 truck bed camper, we'll need to know the overall width of the awning that is currently on it. That measurement is from the center of the arm on one side to the center of the arm on the other size. We list our awnings on the site based off their overall width measurement, for example, the Solera Power & Hybrid Series RV Awning part # SO66VR is listed as 10' feet wide. It measures to 10' from the center of one arm to the center of another, when measuring just the fabric it will always be shorter than the overall width. So, the width of the fabric for a 10' wide awning is 9' 1" wide. I've attached a photo as well showing how the measurement for width should be taken.
