Yes, the RV Designer RV Rear Bumper # RD39SR can be used on your 2026 Cedar Creek 40CMK for rear protection, but it is not a direct bolt-on, vehicle-specific bumper.

The bumper itself is 96" long, and your Cedar Creek is listed at 101" wide, so the overall width is appropriate. Since you're only looking for protection and won't be towing or carrying anything from the bumper, this is a much better application for it. You would still want the bumper tied securely into the trailer's frame so that a light impact is transferred into the frame rather than just the rear wall or bodywork. At the same time, I wouldn't recommend building it excessively heavy or rigid, since a major impact could potentially transfer more force into the trailer frame.

The # RD39SR does not include mounting brackets, so you would need to have brackets fabricated for your Cedar Creek or have the bumper welded into place by a qualified fabricator. It also comes as raw steel, so it will need to be primed and painted, and the bumper cover/end caps are sold separately if you want a more finished, factory-style appearance.
