How are Ends of Rubber Trim for RVs, Boats, and Utility Vehicle Trim Molding Terminated

Question:
How do you terminate each end of the trim? Do they make end pieces for the trim? When I place it in the track , I got a tiny hole at each end of my start and finish point. It fits great other than the opening.

Hey B, for Steele Rubber trim # SR86ZR, there aren't separate end caps/end pieces made for the trim. It's designed to be cut to length and tucked into the 1/2" track. The EPDM rubber itself provides the finished appearance over the screw track.
For those tiny openings at the start and finish, I would put a small dab of black exterior/RV sealant at each end. That will close the opening, help keep water/debris out of the track, and give it a finished appearance. You can also leave the SR86ZR just slightly long when trimming it so the rubber is snug against whatever terminates the track.
