Replacement Controller Availability For Older Brake Buddy Stealth On Jeep Cherokee

I have purchased a Jeep Cherokee with the Brake Buddy Stealth system installed. I need to purchase a controller to install in the motorhome. Is HM39533 the part number? Do you have any in stock?

Hello Aaron,

That is correct. HM39533 is the replacement controller for the Brake Buddy Stealth system installed in your Jeep Cherokee. This is the controller that mounts in the motorhome and operates the Stealth system, but unfortunately it is no longer available from etrailer.

You’ll also want to make sure you have the Replacement Flex-Coil Adapter HM39532, which connects the motorhome to the Jeep. This is also no longer available from us.

If you're unable to locate either part elsewhere, I would recommend replacing the supplemental braking system with the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR. This is a complete portable proportional braking system with its own wireless in-cab monitor/controller, so it would not rely on the existing Brake Buddy Stealth components.

Since the Stealth is already installed in the Jeep, I would try locating the replacement controller and cable first before replacing the entire system.
