Can AirSkirts Tire Covers Be Used Without AirSkirts RV Skirting
Published 09/18/2026 >
Question:
Hi guys, I like these tire covers but I don't have the AirSkirts inflatable skirting system. Can I still use these by themselves when my camper is sitting in storage?

Hi Megan! Yes, you can use the AirSkirts Single-Axle RV Tire Covers # AS27VR completely on their own. You don't need the AirSkirts inflatable skirting or tire wedges to use them. They have an elastic backing to hold them around the tires and the fabric is UV rated, so they'd be a good option for protecting the tires while your camper is sitting outside. This particular set is designed for 27" to 30" diameter tires.
How long do you typically have the camper in storage?
