Question:
I am considering buying some wheels from your website but want to clarify something first. Many in the reviews complain of getting wheels with scratches and shipping damage. It appears most is happening inside the box. How do you handle this if i receive concealed damage?

Hello Dan,
Welcome to etrailer, I'm glad you found us!
I see that you ordered three of the Aluminum AM03 Series Black Machined Trailer Wheels # AM88NR. When they leave our warehouse, they are in excellent shape, but from our warehouse to your front doorstep, a lot can happen. We really have no control over how UPS treats your precious cargo along the way.
Once they arrive, I recommend giving each wheel a good look over before mounting them, including checking for any scratches or damage that may have been hidden by the packaging. If you find anything, don't worry, we will take care of you.
Just give our Customer Service team a call. We have real live people right here in Wentzville, Missouri ready to help. We will ask you to email us a few pictures of the damage, and from there we can get replacements headed your way and send you a return label for the damaged wheels. And that goes for any item you ever order from us!
Those are some really nice wheels! What kind of trailer are you putting them on?

I dropped off the 5 wheels I last purchased at my local tire shop boxes unopened. When I got them back there were minor scuffs/scratches. I had assumed that happened at the tire shop and not necessarily during shipping. I will say I have purchased more than a dozen new trailer wheels from eTrailer over the past 6 months, and they have always come with rim lip protectors AND a cotton cover to keep them from any sort of damage. I will continue to buy from these fine folks.

We bought these aluminum wheels for our TT. They arrived as expected in perfect shape. They are holding up well as we placed them on over a year and half ago. Great company to work with.

I didn’t have any issue with my wheels. The only suggestion I have for you is you may want to get center caps if you don’t like the open look. Also, I should have purchased lugs but I didn’t and had to buy some at my local shop.
