what is the distance between the bottom of the wheel and the mounting plate when extracted. Thanks

Hi Robert!

The Dutton-Lainson A-Frame Boat Trailer Jack w/ Wheel - Sidewind - 15" Lift - 1,000 lbs # DL74MR will measure 16-13/16" (roughly) from the bottom of the wheel to the bottom of the mounting bracket when fully collapsed. When fully extended, it will measure 31-13/16" (roughly).

I say roughly for both of those as there may be a little bit of wiggle room in those measurements as I had to do the measurements for the wheel separately. We don't have the jack on hand at the moment, but we already had a measurement from the bottom of the bracket to either the very bottom of the jack leg, or to the middle of the pin hole on the leg. With that said, the measurement will only be off by 1/2" to 11/16" if there is a difference, so it should give you a very good idea of where everything will sit.
