Handle Extension Options For A LaSalle Bristol Waste Valve

Updated 09/17/2026 | Published 09/12/2026

Question:

I have Lasalle Bristol waste valves installed on my motorhome, they have maybe a 6 in shaft and handle directly installed. Can I unscrew this shaft with the valve installed and screw in a longer shaft without the valve coming apart inside, without any problems.

Hi Stephen!

We have just what you are looking for with the following parts:

6" Extension # 34466SP1106
9" Extension # 34466SP1109
12" Extension # 34466SP1112
36" Extension # 34466SP1136
67.75" Extension # 34466SP116734

And you can add this on without having to take apart the whole valve. You simply unscrew your current handle, screw this onto the end, and then screw everything back into the valve. You do not have to empty the tank or have it open to do so. It is a very quick and easy process. You just need to choose the length that will work best for you. ^___^

What kind of motorhome are you wanting this for? I don't know why they make these so hard to reach sometimes.

yes but I can only handle a 3 in extension. In Lasalle Bristol's catalog they show a 3 in extension, yet I can't find these for sale anywhere, including etrailer.

@StephenC Ok so I just heard back from LaSalle Bristol and they no longer make the 3" extension, unfortunately. The shortest they offer is the 4" # LSB289RR (I just got it added to our site). I know this doesn't help you, but I may have a work around. If you remove your currently handle, how long does it measure?
