Question:
I have a Grand Design Imagine 19MLA, dual axle, that I pull with an F-150. The trailer performs well but looking for a suspension upgrade for 2 reasons: 1 the bucking fore and aft, reduce that over bumps and 2 the trailer tends to rock up and down slightly at the tail on the highway even when tongue is stable. I use a WDH, load the tongue to 12, and the F-150 has Bilsteins and a set of sumo springs from you. Was wondering if the Road Armor or MORryde would help, or the Roadmaster 2460, or something else you recommend, for the bucking and slight rocking

Hey Glenn! If you want the absolute best upgrade, I recommend the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit w/ Shock Absorbers # RM82MR. The slipper springs allow the axles to move more independently while the shocks control the bouncing and up and down movement, so this will do the most to address the issues you're experiencing.
If you want to start off small, I would go with the MORryde CRE3000 Equalizers # MR27ZR along with the Heavy Duty Shackle Upgrade Kit # MR46ZR. The cushioned equalizers will help absorb road shock and reduce some of the bucking, while the upgraded shackles and wet bolts are a nice improvement over the factory hardware. Grand Design lists 35" axle spacing for your trailer so we know this is the right kit.
You could always add the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Shock Absorbers # RM-2450 later. This will likely be enough to control the bouncing and rocking given the size of your trailer without moving to the full Comfort Ride system. Grand Design lists your axles as 3,500 lbs, which typically means they have 2-3/8" diameter. Both Roadmaster options require 2-3/8" axles, so I recommend measuring the diameter to verify before ordering.
Where are you headed with the Imagine once you upgrade your suspension?
