Where Do The Lower Legs Of The Saris Bones 2 Sit On A 2026 Toyota Camry Hybrid 4 Door?

I have a 2026 Toyota Camry 4 Door SE Hybrid. I have the Saris Bones 2. I cant figure out where to place the lower legs. They appear to go halfway over the license plate, is this correct or is there a better place to put the lower legs?

Hello Pamela,

Welcome to etrailer, I'm glad you found us!

The lower legs of the Saris Bones 2 Bike Rack # SA805BL will sit down toward the bottom of the trunk lid on your 2026 Toyota Camry SE Hybrid. You don't want to position them halfway over the license plate if you can get the rack into the proper position shown in the installation example.

I attached an image of a Saris Bones installed on a Camry so you can see the placement I am talking about. The lower legs sit below the license plate area and closer to the bottom edge of the trunk. I would use that as your guide when positioning the rack rather than centering those feet over the license plate.

Do you have a specific trail you like to ride most? We have the Katy Trail here in Missouri, I am actually planning on riding/camping the entire 240 mile tail this Spring.
