Thanks for the information Keith. To add a vent cover to your MaxxAir 4801K, you'll want the MaxxAir FanMate RV and Trailer Roof Vent Cover item # MA00-955001. This cover includes EZClip pins and clips that attach directly to the built-in tabs on your 4801K fan.
The MaxxAir FanMate Vent Cover item # MA00-955001 is made of white polyethylene, which is durability and resistant to the sun. It is designed specifically for high powered fans so it will not restrict air flow. The cover has interior dimensions of 25" long x 16-3/4" wide x 9-1/2" tall.
Are you going with the white cover because it does a better job of reflecting heat from the sun or do you just prefer the color because it matches your roof? Feel free to answer this and throw in any other questions you have, where it says Add Comment.

I found these very easy to install. They worked very well and I love how the mount is secured to the roof around the vent The clips come right out to allow access for resealing/ caulking.

I love these vent covers. I can leave the vents open in the rain if the rain is not too hard. I can also travel with vents open, it limits the heat build up. Installation took all of 5 minutes and no tools were necessary.
