What TruXedo TS Rails Will Fit My 2022 Toyota Tacoma Short Bed

Question:

Hi! I have a 22 Tacoma short bed with a Bakflip MX4 tonneau cover, and recently purchased a Realtruck Truxedo TS rail system item 1118329 which the seller claimed was compatible with my set-up, but I don’t think it really is: Ive tried installing it vague and confusing instructions with no success. I noticed that you sell a Realtruck system with a different item 1118850 - will this work with my truck? Many thanks for your help - Eric

Hey Eric, thanks for reaching out. You are on the right track here. The 1118329 TS Rails are for a Chevy Colorado/GMC Canyon/Ford Ranger/Nissan Frontier/Ram 1500. TruXedo doesn't list those as compatible with a 2022 Tacoma, so that explains why they aren't fitting.

The TS Rails for TruXedo Elevate Rack System # TX22NV (1118850) are exactly what you'll need for your 2022 Toyota Tacoma short bed.

What were you going to carry with the TS rail system?

????many thanks, Jesse….that’s a relief! I’m not exactly sure which bed-rack/tent combo we plan to get, but I think this will allow us some options.

……just to clarify: these rails will work WITH a Bakflip MX4 (standard version) tonneau, yes?

@EricB Yes! The TS Rails will indeed work with the Bakflip MX4 Tonneau. TruXedo lists them as being compatible with the MX4, G2, Revolver X2 and Revolver X4 tonneaus.
