Question:
I ordered the F2615 Firestone air ride for my Ram 3500. I towed a 5th wheel with pin weight of 3700. Max cargo is 4000. Is this air ride enough for my truck? Thank you

Welcome back Wes. The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs item # F2615 have a 5,000 lbs capacity so they're definitely strong enough to keep your truck level with your 5th wheel trailer's 3,700 lbs pin weight. Even fully loaded up you should be well under the 5,000 lbs capacity but it would be worth getting an actuate weight depending on the layout of your trailer when it's loaded.
The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs item # F2615 are confirmed to fit the 4WD models only of the 2022 Ram 3500. They are compatible with 5th wheel and all in bed hitch brackets. They will not work with the factory air suspension system. If your Ram 3500 is a 2WD model you'll need the Firestone item # F2616.
I recommend adding the Firestone Air Command item # F2610 to your truck. This onboard compressor will allow you to adjust the PSI in your air bags from your phone.
What kind of 5th wheel trailer do you have and what 5th wheel hitch do you tow it with? Feel free to answer this and throw in any other questions you have, where it says Add Comment.
