Question:
I have a 2018 Four Winds Class C motor home, Ford E450. Im looking to get a Roadmaster steering stabilizer. Which unit is better for my application, the Roadmaster Reflex or the Roadmaster Exact Center? I actually have a Bilstein steering stabilizer on now, but Im not happy with the way it handles especially driving on a windy day. Can you please advise what unit is best or recommendations, thanks.

Hey Dave, thanks for reaching out. Sure can! The Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer is definitely what I recommend. In my experience it will give you much better results compared to the exact center. Here are the part numbers you'll need:
- Reflex Steering Stabilizer - Class C Ford/Chevy # RM-RSSC
- Custom Mounting Brackets for Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer # RM-RBK24
That combination is a confirmed fit for the E-450 Class C chassis and is designed specifically to help with crosswinds, passing trucks, road ruts, oversteering, and wandering.
For what you are describing, I like the Reflex because it uses a heavy-duty coil spring and stabilizer to actively return the steering back to center after the wind or road pushes you around. That gives the steering a firmer, more predictable feel and takes a lot of the constant correction out of driving a Class C.
Do you take your motorhome on a lot of longer highway trips? Or do you usually stay local?

Jesse, You showed the parts needed as 2 separate items for my 2018 Ford E450 Class C Four Winds motor home; #RM-RSSC $345.00 #RM-RBK24 $114.14 Total $459.14 There is also the kit listed on you site as; #RM-RBK24-RSSC $475.00 Looks like it's better to buy the separately so I can save some money. On traveling, we do a little of both. some longer highway trips usually Interstate or 4 lane and local tips on the scenic 2 lane roads. I would just like better control of steering, helping with crosswinds, passing trucks, road ruts, oversteering, and wandering as you stated. Thanks, Dave M.
