Question:
Do I have to move my license plate from the car to the rake and back again when using the rack and afterwards?

Hey Joe, this is a great question but generally speaking you don't have to move your license plate to the Thule Easy Fold XT part # TH903202. It's one of those things that most people would say is a good idea but in reality police don't seem actually mind. Now if you were on a cross country road trip maybe it would be smart just so you wouldn't have to worry about it but if you are using it for around town I don't think I would worry about it. What kind of bikes do you have?

No you don’t have to. I also didn’t have to put lights on my bike rack, but I did. We travel around the US with our bikes covered and people can’t see our vehicle lights so I added them on. It was just a convenience for others and that’s the same with the plates. I have never been stopped for not showing my plates.
