Question:
I’m needing a cover which goes over the the propnae tank and rubber tubing while mounted on the camper. I’ve bought a few whichnonly fit THE TANK. Will this work? The people reviewing seem to indicate “no”.

Hi Lydia,
I agree with what others are saying that the etrailer RV Propane Tank Cover part # e87VV will not cover the rubber tubing and tank while mounted to the camper. The etrailer RV Propane Tank Cover part # e87VV is designed to specifically protect the tank and is tight on the tank since it's a slip-on cover.
Your best option to cover the hoses, regulator, and the tank is the Camco RV Polyethylene Propane Tank Cover part # CAM40565. The # CAM40565 has more room around the tank specifically for installations where the regulator, mounting bracket, and hose remain attached. It is a plastic cover that requires screws to hold it together so it will definitely provide better protection from the elements and dirt than a soft cover would.
What kind of weather do you take your camper camping in usually?
