Hey Jim,

Unfortunately, the Atwood 91602 gas valve has been discontinued and there isn't a replacement part that will work in place of this gas valve. If your unit is completely shot and in need of immediate replacement, you will need to replace your entire water heater in order to get the hot water in working order again in your trailer. Replacing the valve with third party parts is a pretty common path to look into, but it could also cause leaks or incompatibility issues, so I suggest going with the replacement unit just to save yourself time and effort.

For a replacement water heater, the Dometic RV Water Heater # DMC93RR is a great option! It heats about 12 gallons per hour, has a 6 gallon tank to give you warm water on demand, and its small profile will allow you to install it in really tight spaces and smaller campers. We keep these in stock and they ship via carrier (typically UPS), so delivery to Canada will generally be no problem!

What model of water heater do you currently have? I can look to see if this will fit in the same space as your current water heather or see which other models are comparable to the one you currently have.
