Looking For Replacement Axle For 2000 Escort Boat Trailer
Updated 08/05/2026 | Published 07/31/2026 >
Question:
I am trying to find a replacement axle assembly for my 2000 Escort boat trailer. The axle shaft got chewed up when the outter bearing failed when the boat was on its ways for engine replacement. The seal surface was repaired poorly by the mechanic and I believe it already has speedi sleeves already installed which are also grooved and damaged. I think the axle assembly has a 2 inch also. I have some pictures.

Hey John, thanks for reaching out. We may have an axle for you, but I'll need more information from you to be sure you are getting the right thing. Here is what I'll need to know:
1. The weight capacity if the axle
2. The hub face (HF) length
3. The spring center (SC) length
4. The shape and size of the axle tube
Shoot me that info when you get a chance, or even send me a picture of the axle tag if you have it and I'm happy to look into it. There is no way to add pictures to the comments on here (yet), but you are welcome to email those to me. My email is [email protected].
