Hey Bob, thanks for reaching out. Curt does make different versions of the frame brackets for the TruTrack WD system. The # C17515 you ordered are for frames up to 8" tall. They also make the # C17516 frame brackets which are for frames up to 10" tall. So, it could be your WD hitch originally came with the larger brackets.
