Question:
I have a 2020 Infiniti QX60. Right tail light lead on the cars trailer harness now has no power, although tail lite on car works, problem with car harness. Do you sell a system that connects trailer wiring to car but bypasses the cars harness? Thanks, Don

Hey Don, thanks for reaching out. Yes, there is a way around the factory trailer harness. The Curt Powered Tail Light Converter # C59236 can be hardwired directly into your QX60's taillight and brake light circuits, giving you a completely new 4-flat trailer wiring system. Since it gets its power directly from the battery, it doesn't rely on the factory trailer wiring to power the trailer lights.
Keep in mind, though, the converter still needs a signal from the vehicle's taillight circuits to know when to turn the trailer lights on. Since your right taillight on the vehicle is working, you can use a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to locate the correct wires behind the taillights and splice the converter in there. That bypasses the failed factory trailer harness while still giving the converter the signals it needs to operate the trailer lights.
What kind of trailer will you be hauling?

So I bought your e-trailer tail light converter because the unit I had installed 1 or 2 years ago stopped flashing from the left turn flasher. That unit was completely plug in play, no soldering needed or required. When I ordered your product, and opened it up I realized all the connections were made with those blue crimp connectors, I was not happy! But it was my fault because I didn't realize when I ordered it that was how it came. So I just cut off the plug-in connectors from my old harness and soldered them onto the new harness, but it was a pain. To improve your product, why don't you just put plug-in connectors on the wires and throw those blue crimp connectors away? Please let me know what you decide.
