Question:

I have a 2017 Heartland Pioneer R22 Toyhauler. The left rear leaf spring has broken. The axle serial number is 32114410, though it was hard to read. Can you recommend a replacement spring, it is 4 leafs and appears to be 26 eye-to-eye on the ground, but Im not sure if thats the proper length to purchase? Thanks!

Hi Jan, who makes that axle? There are a few different manufacturers and I would need that information to identify it with the serial number. If you know the axle capacity that would help as well. For the most accurate measurement I would get the flat measurement along the leaf spring since that doesn't change.

Not sure what you mean by flat measurement? It is a Dexter axle, 3500 lb

@JanM this article explains it. Dexter S/N is typically 9 digits so if it was hard to read it might be missing one. More than likely they're 25-1/4" like the # e54SR which would have a flat measurement of 26-3/8".

@Jan alright I sent that to Dexter to see if they can identify the leaf springs that came with it. It would still probably be faster to grab that measurement if you can.
