Question:
I’m looking for a way to ventilate a wooden compartment that holds a DC to DC charger. I’d like to drill a hole through the wooden compartment to the outside of my camper. Does this part require a fan? Or does natural airflow suffice?

Welcome back Sara! The B&B RV PowerVent Wastewater Tank Vent item # BM87MR does not require a fan and does work off of natural air flow. It's got a 1-3/4" diameter hole to let air flow in and out and the screen will keep debris from getting in.
For your wooden compartment and DC to DC charger you'll want to install two of the B&B Vent item # BM87MR. You'll need one at the bottom to let the cooler outside air in and one at the top to push the hot air out.
Please note that you may need to modify the outside cover on the B&B Vent item # BM87MR to allow more air flow.
