Will Atlas PowerLifts Bike Rack Work With My 2 Inch Hitch

Question:
Hi etrailer, I'm really interested in this rack since my wife and I are having a harder time lifting our e-bikes onto our current carrier. I have a 2" receiver on my SUV. Is that all I need to use the Atlas or are there other hitch requirements?

Hey Gary! The Atlas PowerLifts Bike Rack # AT52GR is designed for a 2" receiver, but I would make sure your hitch has enough tongue weight capacity for the complete setup. The rack itself weighs 143 lbs and can carry up to 250 lbs of bikes, so this isn't exactly a lightweight bike rack. As long as the weight of the rack and your e-bikes doesn't exceed your vehicle or hitch tongue weight capacity you're good to go.
