Hey Charles! Yes, the Fogatti InstaCool RV AC System is designed to provide cooling in outdoor temperatures up to 115°F so it will work in that Arizona and Texas heat. It was designed with that kind of summer travel and camping in mind. If you camp during the cooler months as well, the InstaCool is also available with a heat pump. Parking in the shade, extending the awning, and covering sunny windows will still make a big difference when temps are up that high. An RV is a difficult space to cool in direct desert sun, even with an 18,000 Btu unit.
