Question:
I’m building a shore ramp for a mini pontoon boat using treated lumber. Can this guide-on be mounted on the 5-1/2” surface of a 2x6 treated board?

Hey Dan, yes you could attach the CE Smith Roller-Style Guide-Ons for Boat Trailers # CE27610 to the top of a 2 by 6 inch board. The included hardware would need to be replaced as you'd want to run bolts through the boards instead of the u-bolts but I am confident it could be made to work. What boat would you be using this with?

Yes the rollers are very durable but you would need to arrange brackets to mount on the board.
